Welcome to Hands in Motion OT!
We focus on increasing your child's ability to use their hands for purposeful tasks, while also training you as the parent.
We incorporate elements of:
sensory integration
play
fine/gross motor coordination
engaging activities
therapeutic exercises
These elements help your child develop the motor skills necessary for:
handwriting
sports
self-care
etc.
Our concierge-style model allows therapy to take place in your home, pre-school, or daycare so we can better understand your child's routines and challenges leading to more meaningful, real-life outcomes.
Our Occupational Therapy Team
Our dedicated team of licensed Occupational Therapists bring over 30 combined years of experience and passion to help enhance the quality of life for our clients and their families.

Dr. Erin Quicker, OTD, OTR/L, CHT
Erin graduated with her doctoral degree from Mary Baldwin University. She then went on to specialize in hand therapy and is one of only 6,000 certified hand therapists in the united States. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in orthopedics and developmental anatomy. She is passionate about helping clients increase the hand skills they need to succeed in daily life, school, and play.
Michelle Bolen MSOT, OTR/L
Michelle received her master's degree from The University of Washington. With experience in a variety of settings including as a school-based OT, a homeschool parent, and in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, she has a deep understanding of how to break down, analyze, and adapt activities to increase independence and quality of life. She is eager to support her clients and their families in a way that brings confidence and understanding in how to address their needs.

Both of our therapist are currently pursuing a certification to become Handwriting Specialist through the Handwriting Without Tears™ Program in order to better support the needs of the community. Understanding how the hand works in relation to the rest of the body's systems is integral to developing a handwriting plan that works for your child. Our staff have a vast amount of knowledge in development, anatomy, sensory integration, fine/gross motor skills, proprioception/interoception, and neurological components necessary for success.
